Late Autumn at Gareloch Cottage...

Before winter sets in, we're at the cottage to do a few jobs. Tidying up the garden and terrace and freshening up around the house ready for our next guests. In between the rain - we've been lucky with the weather and have had a couple of bright sunny days to enjoy.

The picture above is of Back Road - which is a fairly steep road to the left of Gareloch Cottage and one which we recommend to guests for good walks (it's great for dogs too!) . The further up you go, the better the view gets and on a clear day you'll get a birds eye view across Gareloch.

This photo was taken early one morning as the sun was rising. It's hard to do it justice but you can see the beautiful colours emerging from the sky.

And this photo was taken early evening. Depicting a peaceful Gareloch with the boats on the loch in the distance.

We were at the house during Halloween - and coincidentally there was a full moon over Gareloch. We watched it rising from behind the mountains and captured this later on from the terrace.

Our cottage is open for bookings all year round.
