Cosy winter mornings up on the terrace!

Updated: Dec 19

We're just back from spending a few days at the cottage in advance of our busy Christmas bookings. Even though it's early December - we managed to catch a cosy cuppa up on the terrace with the help of a few extra faux throws!

This was the view across the Gareloch - bright blue skies and clear crystal water!

There's always a few house jobs to keep us busy - maintenance is our no 1 priority to ensure everything is running smoothly for our guests. This time we had the glamorous job of replacing the loo seat and doing a bit of touch up paint work here and there.

We decided to move the console table from the boot room to the living room to create a cosier ambience for the winter months. Adding a new stylish side lamp to give it an extra special touch - we think it works really well. What do you think?

During winter, the garden doesn't grow much - other than sweeping away endless leaves and pine needles it pretty much looks after itself. The hedge grow shouldn't need trimming until next Spring time.

Here's another picture across the Gareloch - can't believe this was taken during December - we were so lucky with the weather! Short days but crisp blue mornings - our favorite!
